The Galapagos Ocean Scouts #17 are more than just a group of explorers; they are a community committed to education, leadership, and environmental protection. Through their activities, they instill fundamental values in young people, such as responsibility, respect for nature, and teamwork. Their mission is clear: to train future guardians of the islands and generate a positive impact on society.
A Donation that Strengthens Our Mission
We recently received a generous donation from a family in the United States that will significantly contribute to the development of our activities. Thanks to their support, we now have:
10 tents
(Capacity for 2 people each)
3 balls
To promote physical activity and teamwork
5 personal acrylic whiteboards
To enhance interactive learning
School supplies
(Scissors, sharpeners, pencil boxes, erasers, pens and markers)
Learning Resources
8 games to learn English and 52 books in English about spirituality
This donation not only enhances our outdoor activities but also enriches our educational programs, providing new learning opportunities for our Scouts.
We are deeply grateful for this support, which motivates us to continue our work.
Building a Generation with Environmental Values
In a place as special as the Galapagos Islands, environmental awareness is essential. Our program fosters values such as conservation, responsible exploration, and community service. We believe that by connecting young people with nature, we give them the tools to become environmental leaders who influence their community and beyond.
Through activities such as camping, beach cleanups, and educational projects, our scouts learn about the unique biodiversity of the Galapagos and the importance of protecting it for future generations.
Each experience helps them develop practical skills and a deep sense of responsibility for the planet.
